Do you ever feel like your brain won’t shut off?
Ideas, to-do lists, and things you don’t want to forget… all competing for attention.
For a long time, I carried everything in my head—and it followed me everywhere.
In Episode 33 of Flipping Furniture for Profit, I’m sharing the simple system I use to get everything out of my head so I can actually focus, create, and move forward.
This isn’t about productivity or complicated systems.
It’s about giving your thoughts a place to go… so they don’t take over everything else.

What My System Looks Like
I keep it simple:
- Daily pages for tasks and ideas
- Numbered pages with an index
- “Blocks” of information for things like podcast ideas and notes
- A few basic symbols to track progress
No perfection. No pressure. Just something that works.
See It in Action
I’ve shared a few real-life pages from my own journal so you can see exactly how I use it.
I've not gotten fancy or creative - I stick to the simplest method possible since I'm usually anxious to get busy and start x-ing things out.

Final Thought
This isn’t about journaling.
It’s about creating space.
Because when your thoughts have a place to go…
they don’t have to live in your head anymore.
