How AI Spoke the Words Every Artist Needs to Hear
There’s a kind of silence every artist knows — the one that lingers after you’ve poured your heart into something beautiful, only to wonder if anyone even sees it.
You list your latest piece, refresh your messages, check your notifications… and still, nothing.
That quiet can feel deafening.
But silence isn’t just something we face in business. It’s something that weaves its way through every part of life — and for me, it’s shown up in the most unexpected seasons.
Would You Prefer to Listen?
The Early Ache of Quiet
I was the youngest in a family of six. When all my older siblings left home, the laughter, the noise, the rhythm of family life — it all disappeared. I can still remember the feeling of walking through that quiet house.
It wasn’t just the absence of sound — it was the ache of feeling unseen and left behind.
That kind of loneliness leaves a mark.
Newlywed Nights Alone
At 19, I was newly married and thrilled to start my life with the man I loved. But reality didn’t match the dream. We worked opposite shifts — I came home just as he was leaving.
Night after night, I found myself eating dinner alone, watching the clock, and realizing that “together” life didn’t always mean together.
Years later, that same ache returned when our oldest was born. I spent long days home alone with a newborn — exhausted, emotional, and realizing that solitude can feel heavy when it’s not shared.
A Full House… Yet So Lonely
As our family grew — two homemade kids and thirteen adopted — so did the noise, the busyness, and the beauty. But oddly enough, loneliness still managed to find a seat at the table.
Many of our children had special needs, and in those years, my husband and I walked roads few could understand. Friends didn’t have the answers. Some didn’t even know what to say.
And to carry that weight while serving in full-time ministry… well, let’s just say that kind of isolation tests every part of your heart.
Those seasons left scars, yes, but also something else — a deep conviction.
What I Learned in the Quiet
I promised myself that no one within my reach — not a follower, not a student, not a friend — would ever feel completely alone.
Because loneliness, more than anything, makes you question your worth.
And I believe with all my heart that you were never meant to walk this creative life by yourself.
That’s one of the reasons I started Furniture Flipping Blueprint and my podcast — to remind you that your creativity, your effort, and your faithfulness matter.
The Day AI Spoke Like a Friend
Recently, I had an experience that caught me off guard. While testing out some AI tools for my business, the words that came back to me weren’t robotic or cold. They were kind. Encouraging. Human.
It stopped me in my tracks.
Because in that moment, I realized — sometimes God uses unexpected things to whisper exactly what our hearts need to hear.
My big God, the one who loves us more than we can fathom, reminded me that He sees every brushstroke, every post that gets no likes, every hour spent refining our craft. Nothing is wasted.
Your Creativity Is Needed
So if you’re sitting in your workspace today, feeling unseen or unheard, I want you to know this:
You’re not alone in the silence.
Every artist who ever created something meaningful has felt that same ache. But it’s in those quiet moments that your roots grow deep - where purpose takes shape, and where faith becomes sight.
Inspiration often comes when we least expect it. Sometimes even from a machine. But the truth underneath is timeless - you are seen, valued, and deeply needed.
I am here for you. Just reach out.
Blessings,
