Welcome to LMDH!

Hi there,

Because we love our DIY home, I am here to share with you some of the things we’ve learned along the way.

I’m married to Mark, nicknamed DH (Darling Hubby). We’re just normal people trying to be good stewards of our money while we create a home that not only is comfortable, and inviting, but affordable as well.

  • We raised 15 kids – 13 special needs adopted, 2 homemade
  • We are retired from full-time ministry where I taught for 9 years in the church school
  • I homeschooled for a few years
  • We live in Wisconsin, transplanted from Michigan
  • I now teach furniture flipping online

There is no reason to re-invent the wheel if someone else has already done it – so I share with you what I’ve learned here on LMDH.

Sharing ideas is how many of us improve our homes and enjoy some of the better things in life – and it doesn’t have to cost us a ton of money!

They say that necessity is the mother of invention, and imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

We have found this to be true and hope to pass along some great DIY ideas and share with you some home decorating products through interviews, tutorials and articles, both by myself and guests.

If you’d like to join me in my furniture flipping part of this journey, click the free ebook offer at the bottom.

I’m on Pinterest, Facebook , Twitter, Instagram, and Hometalk.

I also have a mom blog at Mom of Many.

You can find all of my furniture flipping opportunities on ValFrania.com if you’d like to come take a look to see if it interests you. I’ll send you an eBook about the different types of paint.

We are busy, busy people, but never too busy to make new friends and encourage others along the way.

Let’s connect and have some fun DIYing together.

I look forward to getting to know you all through your future comments and suggestions.

Blessings!
