A local farm was selling pumpkins for $2.00, so I bought 3 to use on my porch.
There's something very satisfying about supporting local businesses.
For my fall porch deco I used my funky candle holder, a basket I found at Goodwill for $1.99 (I painted the sign with chalkboard paint), and a mum plant I bought on clearance at Walmart for $3.99. I added some of my other diy projects and some fall finery from our yard.
I'll let the pictures do the talking.
Easy project - spray paint an old banged up watering can!

I love it when I see people decorate for the seasons. My porch is full of green hanging baskers. I love them so much that they will be there til frost.
I’m with you Dina! The fall is such a fun time to decorate. Half of our trees here in Wisconsin have turned and are absolutely beautiful!
Thanks for sharing this on my What Are You Doing? Blog Hop!
Val, I love your porch decorations…I planted the huge mums I had sitting on my front porch (which is very small and kind of awkward to decorate) and so now it's empty waiting for something that inspires me for the winter season. Wish I could pick your brain to discover some eclectic mix including something antique but don't want to spend too much because of budget and also that nobody takes off with it, after all this is my front porch! My porch measures 8' wide and 5' depth. Of course the door is right in the middle and the steps as well so it's kind of hard to decorate.
Gerrie, send me a picture of your porch that you want to decorate. I can give you some suggestions!
